Driver’s age

The minimum age of the driver is 23 years old for categories economy, Α, Β and 25 years old for all other categories. 3 years of driving license required.

Driver’s license

The driver must have a driver’s license that has been issued at least 3 years ago and is valid in Greece. For driver’s licenses of countries that are not members of the E.U. an international driver’s license is required.

Traffic Violations – Fines

All fines from illegal parking and violations of the traffic code that may occur during the rental period, are the renters’ responsibility.

VAT Local Tax

This is a tax applied by the government on car rental of percentage (24%) and is included in the price.

Payment Policy

Full prepayment upon booking is required. Non changeable and non refundable.
Important Notice: Upon booking entire rental amount will be charged to your credit card.

Insurance

Prices include the following covers

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW):
Your liability for damage caused to the rental vehicle is relinquished if it is involved in a collision. The waiver is limited to a certain amount and often excludes glass (windows etc.), tyres and any towing. The waiver carries an excess starting from 500 euro for Groups A, B, C and 900 euro for Groups G1, G2, H.

Smart Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW):
Excess will be 300 euro if guest pay 10 euro per day for groups A, B, C and 700 euro if guest pay 10 euro per day for groups G1, G2, H.

Premium Zero Excess Coverage (PCDW):
Excess will be zero if guest pay 15 euro per day. Undercarriage, tyres, wheels and key lost or key damaged is not covered.

Car Theft Waiver

Collision Damage Waiver with theft and fire insurance

It also covers:
For death or injury to third parties up to 500.000 euro.
For material damage to third parties up to 100.000 euro.

Insurance is not valid and it is the renter’s responsibility when:
The driver is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The car is driven on non-paved roads (4X4 vehicles are excluded).
The driver exceeds the speed limits.
The car is driven by a person that is not stated on the car rental contract.
The driver does not return the car on the date and time agreed by the rental lease.

Airport Fee

No fees charged.

Unlimited Mileage

Unlimited mileage is included in our rates.

Break Down Assistance

We offer a break down assistance in Kefalonia. Cars are not allowed to leave the island.

Loss or damage of key

In case of loss or damage of car key during the rental, the renter is liable for charges.

Cancellation Policy

Cancel 60 days before pickup date withholding 100% of the reservation total amount. After 60 days the amount will become non-refundable.
